In this software session, I felt i learnt alot, we looked at a lot of different features on illustrator, that i never knew existed for example the width tool, blob bush, these features are so simple, but really important to know. They will help me in further projects.


   Notes:
  • Width tool – makes strokes bigger, adds shape, varys your stroking.
  • Blob Brush – Double click, change angles, change sizes, draw with strokes, ideal for quick sketches
  • Brushes – Create a path, brush library, create own brush, drag and drop brushes you have created into brushes and rename, to edit brush, double click
  • Brushes to apply text – type, then drag brush on top
  • Download brushes – find in library
  • Bristle Brush – Double click, change settings
  • Patterns effect – Draw circles, Distor and transform, choose one bloat, object- expand appearance (turns into a shape)
  • Symbols – Useful and quick, break chain link (bottom panel), spray can works on symbols, symbol scruncher tool, changes sizes and multiples them.
  • Graphic Styles – Draw line stroke 20pt, apperance box add new stroke, change colour, change pt size, create new graphic style, no fill.
  • Blends – Useful for eregular shaped objects.
  • Gradient mesh – object
  • Persective Grid – View menu or tool bar
