This was our first officially brief we got given, based on typography. We had to produce an A2 poster, and A6 postcard and a web page. This brief was to test how good our typography skills were. It could not contain imagery, which I thought was going to be a challenge, but I understood really well. I documented my work throughout the whole of the brief, showing my development and experiments. Throughout all my experiments I showed a lot of consistency in the work, making sure it all went in well together.
The 4 workshops we worked on before helped us a lot to prepare for this brief. We focused on the same concept that we did in the workshops “The Reith Lectures” but we had to design one for Antony Gormley in 2011. A lot of research was done on Antony Gormley and BBC Radio 4. We had to start from scratch, thinking what the lectures would be called, what time and dates. This I found hard, but as I kept researching I found a lot more information on Gormley.
